Rev.Fr Ejike Mbaka has denied that he is an agent for the All Progressive Congress (APC). The clergy who spoke during homily on Sunday, insisted he was not being paid for his prophecies. Mbaka also claimed the former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, tried to bribe him on numerous occasion before the elections, which he lost to president Muhammadu Buhari. He stressed that the messages he preaches are not partisan, stating that he's not a politician but a prophet of God. The police in Ogun state have opened investigation into the alledged report of five female secondary school students who raped a biology teacher into coma in the state on Thursday. All may not be well with the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the moment as four of the presidential aspirants of the party comprising: Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Rochas Okorocha and Sam Nda- Isaiah have petitioned the national leadership of the party, questioning the rationale behind the choice of Lagos for the December 11 APC National Convention. The four had met last week to review development in the party and the direction at which the party’s National Convention is headed. The National Chairman of the United Progressives Party, UPP, Chief Chekwas Okorie, has reminded Ndigbo that President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC, never promised to hand over power to them in 2023. Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has announced that his administration will soon begin to demand the Permanent Voters’ Card from indigenes of the state as a condition to engage in certain socio-economic activities, such as salary payment and admission into schools.
